Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to become part of our thriving, hospital-centered practice located in the greater Phoenix region. This role is perfect for a driven physician who has a passion for inpatient urology, tackling complex cases, and collaborating across various hospitals in a rapidly expanding metropolitan area, which ranks as the fifth largest city in the United States.

Position Highlights
  • Inpatient-focused urology hospitalist position with optional outpatient clinic opportunities available.
  • Weekend call shifts ranging from 8 to 26 per year (Friday 1:00 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.).
  • Coverage for approximately 3 to 7 hospitals each weekend, with support from 1 to 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a strong clinical team.
  • All licensing and credentialing expenses will be fully covered by the practice.

You will be joining a large, collaborative team that includes:

  • Urology specialists: Jeffrey Stern MD FACS, Aaron LaTowsky MD, David Kaplan MD, Chandan Kundavaram MD, John Mai MD, Amy Schlaifer MD, Joshua Jones MD, Oliver Ko MD
  • Urogynecology experts: Jennifer Klauschie MD, Keri Wong MD, Hemikaa Devikumar MD, Christina Rogers DO
  • Over 12 Advanced Practice Providers assisting with both inpatient and outpatient care

Our areas of expertise encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Prostate cancer, Da Vinci robotic surgery, GreenLight laser, vasectomy
  • Incontinence and female vaginal prolapse
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Laparoscopic nephrectomy
  • Advanced therapies for BPH and pelvic health, including ThermiVa, Rezum, and Urolift
Role Expectations

The Urology Hospitalist will be responsible for:

  • Providing weekend inpatient coverage and rounding on hospitalized urology patients.
  • Managing post-operative patients, handling inpatient consultations, and performing urologic surgeries and procedures.
  • Working closely with APPs and the broader team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.

Opportunities for clinic or outpatient sessions can be integrated based on personal interest and the needs of the group.

Candidate Profile
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • Open to both new graduates and seasoned physicians
  • Welcoming both AMG and IMG candidates
  • Interest in modern, technology-driven urologic care and complex inpatient management
