Physician Assistant - Urology

Location:
Tucson, Arizona
Practice: Santa Cruz Urology Care Clinic
Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:
We seek a dedicated and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys outpatient medicine, continuity of care, a team approach to patient care, and building long-term patient relationships. This is not an OR or first-assist position. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including histories and physical exams
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of urologic conditions in the outpatient setting
  • Perform in-office procedures (e.g., catheter placement, bladder scans, minor procedures)
  • Provide follow-up and chronic disease management
  • Collaborate closely with supervising physician and clinical staff
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active Arizona license (or eligible for)
  • DEA certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a clinic setting
  • Urology experience required
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred, but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary Baseline: $130,000+, with significant potential for additional earnings and performance-based bonuses. Starting salary may increase based on experience and productivity.
