As of Jun 12, 2026, the average yearly pay for weekend unlicensed social worker in the United States is $76,266.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $59,000.00 and $91,500.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A weekend unlicensed social worker typically earns less than $10,000 a month; high earnings in social work usually require licensure or advanced degrees. Jobs that can pay $10,000 monthly without a degree often include sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship, which rely on skills, experience, and performance rather than formal education.

Can you call yourself a social worker if you are not licensed?

A weekend unlicensed social worker cannot legally use the title 'social worker' unless they hold the required licensure or certification. In many jurisdictions, the title is protected and reserved for licensed professionals, though individuals may perform related tasks under supervision or with specific credentials. Using the title without proper licensing can lead to legal and ethical issues.

What can a social worker do without a license?

An unlicensed social worker, such as a weekend unlicensed social worker, can perform tasks like providing support, counseling, and case management under supervision or within scope of their training. They typically cannot perform duties that require licensure, such as independent clinical assessments or prescribing services, but may assist licensed professionals and work in supportive roles. Licensing requirements vary by jurisdiction and job setting.

Can you make $200,000 as a social worker?

Weekend unlicensed social workers typically do not earn $200,000 annually, as this level of income is uncommon in entry-level or part-time roles. High earnings in social work usually require advanced degrees, licensure, specialized skills, or management positions, which are less likely to be part-time or weekend roles.
