Additional challenges include handling physically demanding tasks, such as carrying tools and equipment up the towers, and troubleshooting technical issues on-site with limited immediate support. Effective communication with team members on the ground and thorough pre-climb planning are key strategies to overcoming these challenges. Most employers provide ongoing safety training and support to help climbers stay prepared and confident on the job.
A Weekend Tower Climber is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications towers primarily on weekends.
