MRI Technologist - Radiology
Schedule
Shift: 4x10s, 1500-0130, Monday-Thursday
No weekends or call required.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Required certifications/licenses: BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), Washington State radiology & MR licensure
- Experience in adult acute care, outpatient, ER/Trauma, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient settings
- Trauma level I experience preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic MRI across all age groups (brain, MSK, abdomen, pelvis, MRA/MRV)
- Competency in general radiography/X-ray
- Experience with PACS and image management; knowledge of radiation safety
- Ability to prepare/administrate contrast media and start IVs
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures for diverse patient populations, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Conduct general radiography/X-ray procedures as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage imaging quality and uphold radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Compliance / Notes
- Two references required (covering 1 year within the last 3 years).
- Completion of onboarding modules typically around 16 hours pre-start, recorded in the system.
- All facilities honor active compact license; Washington State licensure required for the position.
