The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $87,000 - $127,600 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in this Role:

  • Analyze engineering data, SME input, and source materials to produce approved structured content and - in collaboration with information architecture- intelligent content for both, human re-use (training and other) and machine-based (AI) consumption
  • Apply content models, metadata, terminology standards, and other principles to ensure consistency
  • Create, maintain & distribute content in line with RLS support scope (source language: US English)
  • Assemble (and provide) content as audience- and OU-specific deliverables within requirements, branding, and language frameworks
  • Translate or localize content within standards scope / requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and information architects to validate content, resolve gaps, and ensure quality across outputs
  • CCMS key user and lead point of contact for information architect

What We are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of Technical Writing experience
  • Clear, concise technical writing and editing skills
  • Familiarity with structured content tools or willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and consistency in terminology and formatting
  • Collaboration and communication withcross functionalteams
  • Experience in crafting technical or product documentation from engineering data or SME input within automotive, robotics or other engineering & software development environments
  • Proficiency in DITA
  • Solid understanding of structured content best practices for human and machine (AI) consumption
  • Hands on experience using authoring or content management tools
  • Experience collaborating with engineers orcross functionalteams to capture andvalidateinformation
  • Exposure to global content needs, including translation or localization workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, Engineering, or a relatedfield,equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Foundational knowledge of technical writing principles or structured content practices through coursework, internships, or professional experience.
  • Certification in technical communication or content development
  • Physical requirements (i.e.must be able to safely enter and move around production facilities)
