Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic Teaching Assistant to join our team! As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher with classroom duties and instruction. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!

Responsibilities:ย 
  • Assist students individually and in small groups
  • Supervise students in the classroom and elsewhere in the school
  • Enforce classroom rules and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records
  • Communicate with parents and school personnel as requested by the head teacher
Qualifications:ย 
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience as a teaching assistant is preferred
  • Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsย
