Role Summary

Our client, a nationally recognized healthcare system, is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join its perioperative services team. This role is responsible for supporting surgeons and clinical staff during surgical and obstetrical procedures by ensuring a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced surgical team in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields for operative and obstetrical procedures
  • Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures by anticipating instrumentation and equipment needs
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies
  • Ensure proper sterilization, handling, and accountability of surgical instruments and materials
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, sterile technique, and patient safety standards
  • Assist with patient positioning, room preparation, and equipment setup
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other perioperative staff to ensure efficient surgical workflow
  • Support quality patient care throughout the intraoperative phase of surgical procedures

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (or equivalent qualification where applicable)
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, and operating room procedures
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
