Job description

Position Title:
Substitute Teacher Early Childhood Education Centers
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Requirements:
  • TB Screening (On or before first day & annually)
  • CBC Qualification Letter (Prior to first day & every 3 years
 
Reports To:
Director ECEC, Superintendent or designee
Additional Information:
Substitutes are employed on an "as needed" basis.  Hours and continued employment are not guaranteed, therefore this position is not considered "permanent".  Teaching staff and principals schedule their own substitutes through an online website provided at the time of hire.   Substitute performance and other staff observations will determine whether a substitute will return to the school.  Administrators reserve the right to schedule all preferred substitutes.  
Substitutes are not permitted to work more than (30) hours per week.  This is equivalent to 3 1/2 days per week.
