Job description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently hiring a Spanish Language Teacher (ELE) to provide in-person lessons to our client in Wilton Manors.
Job Information:
  • Ref. # 200057: 1 adult (male).
  • Location: Lessons are to be held at the student's home in Wilton Manors, FL 33305 (Near Colohatchee Park and Dog Park)
  • Preferred start date: ASAP

Details:
  • Availability: Weekdays; he needs some flexibility
  • Lesson Frequency and Duration: 3 times per week, 1 hour per session
  • Current Spanish level: Beginner
  • Native language: English
  • Student's language needs and goals: He needs to be able to communicate at work with non-English speakers, and deliver speeches in Spanish. Lessons should focus on grammar, vocabulary improvement, reading and writing, pronunciation and local accents, common phrases native speakers use every day, conversations with native speakers, and job-related vocabulary, such as sharing feedback and opinions. He would prefer a teacher who teaches Spanish in an intense and structured way. He prefers a classroom-like experience with printed materials for study and review. He wants hands-on activities and physical resources rather than relying solely on digital content.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
  • Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in Spanish
  • Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of Spanish (ELE) teaching experience
