Responsible for safely transporting passengers to and from designated locations. The primary focus will be on providing reliable and efficient transportation services while ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Operate shuttle vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of passengers during transit.
  • Follow predetermined routes and schedules, picking up and dropping off passengers at designated locations.
  • Communicate any route changes or delays to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Provide excellent guest service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking.
  • Respond to passenger inquiries and concerns professionally and courteously.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily trips, including mileage, fuel consumption and passenger counts.
  • Submit required reports and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisory personnel using provided communication devices.
  • Relay information about traffic conditions, accidents or other incidents that may affect transportation services.
  • Keep the interior and exterior of the shuttle clean and presentable at all times.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is stocked with necessary supplies, such as maps or informational materials.
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and licensing requirements related to passenger transportation.
  • Stay informed about changes in traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid drivers’ license for use of company vehicles is required
  • Comfort with repetitive tasks on a daily basis
  • Ability to manage time well, meet imposed deadlines and ability to work flexible hours
  • The position requires the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.
  • This position requires the ability to stand, walk (6-7 hours at a time), and climb stairs, reach & bend.
  • The position requires that the employee be able to read basic chemical labels and write in complete sentences in submitting reports and assessments.
  • Ability to communicate appropriately in the workplace
  • Ability to meet sanitary skill standards deemed appropriate for position

Education & Experience

  • Shuttle/driver experience preferred
  • Guest service experience highly desirable
  • High school diploma or GED or one (1) year equivalent experience
