Job description

We are seeking a Part-time Overnight Weekend Security Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises during weekend nights. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for our staff, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and composure. Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises throughout the night to deter and detect unauthorized individuals or activities.
  • Monitor security cameras and alarms to identify and respond to any suspicious behavior or incidents.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, such as medical situations or security breaches, and take appropriate actions as required.
  • Secure all entry and exit points, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed access.
  • Complete detailed reports documenting any security-related incidents, activities, or observations.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies or emergency services when necessary to address security concerns.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with staff, visitors, and vendors at all times.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
  • Must be able to work overnight shifts on weekends, including holidays.
  • Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain alert and focused during quiet periods.
