Job description

Arena Sweeping is hiring a full-time CDL Class B Driver / Street Sweeper Operator for local construction and roadway sweeping work.

We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL driver to operate one of our vacuum street sweepers. Street sweeper experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right CDL driver.

Job Duties:

  •  Operate a commercial vacuum street sweeper 
  •  Perform street and roadway sweeping for construction projects and other job sites 
  •  Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections 
  •  Maintain the sweeper and report any mechanical or maintenance issues 
  •  Safely travel to job sites throughout our service area 
  •  Follow DOT, company, and job-site safety requirements 
  •  Complete required daily paperwork 
Requirements:

  •  Valid CDL Class B or higher 
  •  Valid DOT Medical Card 
  •  Acceptable motor vehicle record 
  •  Must meet FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements 
  •  Dependable transportation to our Plymouth Meeting location 
  •  Must be reliable and able to report to work as scheduled 
  •  Ability to work varying schedules depending on job requirements 
  •  Construction or commercial driving experience preferred 
  •  Street sweeper or vacuum truck experience is a plus, but not required 
Schedule:

This is a full-time position. Work schedules vary based on customer and construction project needs and may include early mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
