Job Summary: Maintains accountability for the nursing functions at Courtland Terrace in the absences of the Director of Nursing. Provides leadership and manages all aspects of nursing operations consistent with the Corporate and Facility Mission. Follows established policies and procedures, facilitates, and organizes collection of nursing QAPI data, and completes other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing.
Qualifications: BSN preferred. Current RN license to practice in North Carolina (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). At least one year of progressive leadership responsibility and a strong background in long-term nursing care. Assistant Director Of Nursing experience strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of leadership/management theories and applications. Positive and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge and skills of motivation and group dynamics. Current BLS.
