JOB SUMMARY
The General Medical/Surgical unit is a 15 bed, adult medical-surgical unit located on the third floor that serves patients with a variety of conditions/diagnosis, including but not limited to COPD, pneumonia, diabetes, cellulitis, acute and chronic kidney disease, etc. Nurses are trained to care for the hospital peritoneal dialysis (PD) population. General Medicine also serves as a surgical unit for abdominal, genitourinary, wound debridement, and other general surgeries.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills

PREFERRED:
  • BSN

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • Possesses current State RN license.

PAY STATUS
  • Non-exempt hourly
