JOB SUMMARY
We are a 30-bed unit serving many medical patient populations. Our focus is oncology (from new diagnosis to end of life), respiratory diseases, congestive heart failure, and end of life/hospice. Our nurses are trained and certified to administer chemotherapy and other cancer treatments for inpatients. We have a mix of experienced and new graduate nurses who demonstrate great teamwork to provide those we serve with high quality, compassionate care.
This position assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides direct nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including adult through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training/Experience:
REQUIRED:
  • Graduate of an RN School of Nursing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Computer Skills

PREFERRED:
  • BSN
  • 1 Year RN experience

License/Certifications/Special Requirements:
  • Possesses current State RN license.

PAY STATUS
  • Non-exempt hourly
