We are seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor (Administrative Nurse) to provide clinical leadership across our retirement community. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced RN who enjoys leading teams, mentoring staff, solving problems, and ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care.
What You'll Do
As the Weekend RN Supervisor, you'll serve as the nursing leader during weekends, supporting our Long-Term Care teams while ensuring quality resident care and regulatory compliance.
Schedule
Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide administrative oversight of the nursing department during weekend shifts
  • Serve as the clinical resource and mentor for nurses and nursing staff
  • Perform resident rounds and assess changes in condition
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and assist with complex resident care needs
  • Communicate with physicians, families, department leaders, and the Director of Nursing
  • Review incidents, investigate concerns, and assist with risk management
  • Support infection prevention, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance
  • Assist with staffing needs and nursing department operations
  • Promote a positive, resident-centered culture while supporting staff throughout the weekend
What We're Looking For
  • Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Leadership experience or the ability to confidently lead and mentor staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while making sound clinical decisions
  • Basic computer proficiency
