Respiratory Therapist (RT) Schedule
  • Saturday and Sunday Coverage
Respiratory Therapist (RT) Looking for a full time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience. Respiratory Therapist (RT) Job Description
  • Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases.
  • Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
  • Complete a variety of bedside treatments
  • Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
  • Attend applicable IDT meetings
  • Experience with tracheotomy
  • Experience is a long term care setting
  • Follow procedure and protocol of facility
  • Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
  • Performs related duties as required
Respiratory Therapist (RT) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
  • Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
Salary: $48 to $52 an hour
