Position Overview

Transitional Living Solutions is seeking a dedicated Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. This full-time position allows you to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable populations while working from the comfort of your home. You will actively engage in individual and family counseling, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate community resources, empowering clients to navigate and overcome their unique challenges.

Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a structured work schedule during regular business hours. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments that explore the social, emotional, and environmental challenges faced by clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
  • Develop individualized service plans that outline specific goals, interventions, and timelines to help clients achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide empathetic counseling and ongoing support to individuals and families experiencing crises, helping them to develop coping strategies and access necessary resources.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored service plans that consider their unique situations and connect them with relevant community resources.
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans when necessary to protect client well-being.
  • Build relationships with community agencies and organizations, facilitating coordinated services and advocating effectively for client needs.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives that raise awareness of our services, fostering a supportive environment for those in need.
  • Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and staff training sessions to promote professional collaboration and agency growth.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families facing significant life challenges, including those impacted by substance abuse, domestic violence, and socioeconomic difficulties. By providing tailored support and advocacy, you will help clients navigate barriers to access essential services, ultimately promoting recovery and well-being within our community.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social issues and a strong commitment to social and economic justice.
  • Strong communication, cultural competence, and problem-solving abilities are essential for success.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in a social service agency or similar environment is highly desirable.
