As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at American Social Work Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to thoroughly understand clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Developing personalized treatment plans that set clear therapeutic goals and define appropriate interventions, adjusting strategies based on client progression and feedback.
• Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care, emphasizing continuity and quality in treatment.
• Administering crisis intervention services and safety planning measures when clients present acute risks, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress, adhering to ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Your role will center on a diverse client demographic, spanning individuals, couples, and families experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. To be considered for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position, candidates must possess:

• A valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, including work with varied demographics, particularly in family and marriage therapy settings.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
