Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at American Social Work Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to thoroughly understand clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available support systems.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist position, candidates must possess:

  • A valid license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Texas.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred).
