Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst builds and maintains the analytical foundation that connects marketing activity, market dynamics, and commercial performance to business decisions.
This role translates complex data into actionable insights, enabling more effective go-to-market strategies, product prioritization, and investment decisions. It serves as a critical bridge across Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, and Service to ensure alignment around a single, data-driven view of performance and opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Commercial Analytics Architecture
  • Define and standardize core marketing and commercial KPIs across the organization
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure to track performance
  • Establish data definitions, governance practices, and sources of truth
  • Ensure alignment across Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance on metrics and reporting
  • Ensure data integrity by reconciling discrepancies across systems (CRM, Finance, Marketing tools).

NPI Performance Tracking
  • Own end-to-end NPI performance tracking and reporting across:
    • Revenue performance
    • Customer adoption
    • Funnel progression
    • Regional performance trends
  • Conduct post-launch performance analysis
  • Identify key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement of launch processes through data-driven insights

Market Intelligence
  • Build and maintain market models (TAM / SAM / SOM) to inform strategic planning
  • Monitor and synthesize competitive landscape (features, pricing, positioning, trends)
  • Develop customer segmentation and persona models to support targeting and positioning
  • Synthesize third-party research and internal data to assess market attractiveness and company position
  • Design and conduct market research to address key business questions

Commercial Insights Generation
  • Mine internal customer and revenue data to identify adoption trends, customer behavior, and growth opportunities
  • Conduct win/loss analysis to identify drivers of deal outcomes
  • Support pricing strategy through value analysis and price sensitivity insights
  • Model adoption curves and growth scenarios for key products and segments
  • Identify revenue opportunities, commercialization gaps, and portfolio risks

Executive & Business Reporting
  • Deliver insights and materials for:
    • Bi-weekly and monthly business reporting
    • Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs)
    • Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, concise, and decision-ready insights for leadership
  • Support Product Council and strategic planning discussions with data-driven recommendations

Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Service, Finance, and Medical Education to identify and prioritize analytical needs
  • Enable data-driven decision-making across the commercial organization

Qualifications & Experience
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, commercial analytics, or related role
  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or B2B technology environments preferred

Analytical & Technical Skills
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex datasets into actionable insights
  • Experience working with large datasets across CRM, financial, and marketing systems
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot or similar)
  • Experience building dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks

Pay Transparency:
Pursuant to the requirements of applicable State laws and regulations, the starting salary range for this position is $90,000 - 95,000 USD. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
