What are Weekend Remote Intelligence Analysts?

Weekend Remote Intelligence Analysts are professionals who analyze and interpret data related to security, business, or government intelligence, but work specifically during weekends and do so from a remote location. Their tasks may include monitoring information feeds, preparing intelligence reports, and supporting decision-making processes outside of standard weekday hours. These roles are often found in organizations that require round-the-clock intelligence monitoring, such as government agencies, security firms, or multinational corporations. Job description

Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Job Location: 3 days a week in our El Segundo, CA HQ (Tuesday's mandatory), 2 days remote
Company Description
Greater Good Health is a fast-growing organization delivering care to older adults in access starved communities. Our innovative model is led by Nurse Practitioners and focused on outcomes, not volume—meaning we prioritize quality over quantity, spend more time with our patients, and are accountable for their health and well-being.
Whether through our own senior-focused primary care clinics or our suite of integrated clinical solutions for health plans and provider groups, we are making value-based care more accessible and more effective. We help reduce avoidable healthcare costs, improve clinical outcomes, and create a best-in-class patient experience.
If you're passionate about transforming healthcare and delivering meaningful care to those who need it most, Greater Good Health offers a purpose-driven, collaborative, and supportive environment where your work can make a lasting impact.
The Role
Greater Good Health is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst with deep clinical analytics expertise to join our Data Analytics team. This role partners directly with Clinical Operations and Clinical Performance to deliver the data tools, dashboards, and analytical insights that power our day-to-day operations and drive population health outcomes at scale.
The ideal candidate combines enterprise BI skills with fluency in clinical workflows, EHR data, and value-based care concepts. You will own the design, development, and scalability of clinical reporting solutions — built on the standards and infrastructure of our central analytics function — while serving as a trusted, embedded analytics partner to our operational lanes.
As an early hire on our Data Analytics team, this role will come with a great deal of autonomy, a broad scope, and will allow you to put your fingerprints on our processes as we build it from the ground up. As GGH expands its reach to serve tens of thousands of patients across multiple clients and clinics, this role will ensure our operational teams have the data infrastructure and insights they need to perform, scale, and meet contractal obligations.
Responsibilities
Business Intelligence Development and Automation
  • Own the full BI development lifecycle for the clinical analytics domain: requirements gathering, data modeling, dashboard design, QA, deployment, and documentation
  • Re-engineer existing Excel/macro-based reports into scalable, automated solutions using Power BI and SQL, aligned to Data Analytics team standards
  • Build and maintain dashboards focused on metrics such as population health, tracking HCC addressal rates, quality gap closure, patient engagement, and care team performance across clients and clinics
Clinical Analytics and Decision Support
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner to Clinical Operations and Clinical Performance, providing dedicated, context-aware support for operational data needs across patient panels, quality performance, and care team workflows
  • Develop working fluency in Athenahealth (EHR) data structures — including quality measure data, appointment data, CPT/CPT2 coding, and panel management workflows — to enable rapid, accurate development
  • Support proactive analytics that surface operational insights — shifting decision making from reactive to anticipatory across care delivery and operational teams
  • Develop ad hoc analyses that identify trends and meaningful improvement opportunities; communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
  • Serve as the primary analytics point of contact for various departments — run requirements gathering sessions, present findings, and manage delivery expectations
  • Present trends, analyses, and recommendations to operational and executive stakeholders with clarity and appropriate clinical context
  • Participate in operational and analytics standing meetings; proactively flag data quality risks and reporting gaps before they become business problems
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • 4+ years of analytical experience in a healthcare setting, with direct exposure to EHR-derived data and clinical or operational performance reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI — including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design for clinical or operational use cases
  • Strong SQL skills required; preferably in Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse
  • Working knowledge of clinical data concepts: ICD-10, CPT/CPT2, HCC risk adjustment, HEDIS quality measures, and panel management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to present complex findings to operational and executive audiences
  • Excellent project management skills – Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to support various team members; Ability to complete assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; Attention to detail and follow-through in tasks to meet completing deliverables
  • Exceptional data QC instincts and attention to detail
  • Preferred: Claims experience – Able to understand/analyze large claims datasets and derive insights
  • Preferred: Athenahealth experience and knowledge of underlying EHR data structures
What Will Make You Successful at GGH
  • If you “bring it” every day and are continually hungry to learn, share, and tackle challenges.
  • You thrive in an environment that champions learning, growth, agency, and autonomy. We support each team member to work at the “top of their license” and find fulfillment in their work.
  • We can trust that your words and actions align. We own our mistakes and share our learning with others. We think and act with consideration for people, time, rules, resources, ethics, and GGH’s success.
Perks and Benefits:
Free lunch and parking available daily for in office presence!
  • Competitive Compensation Package: We offer a competitive compensation package to recognize your valuable contributions and ensure your financial security.
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits: Take advantage of comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, to prioritize your health and well-being. Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) available.

  • 401K Program with Company Match: Plan for your future with our 401K program, featuring a company match, to help you save for retirement.
  • Monthly Phone/Internet Reimbursement: Stay connected with our monthly phone and internet reimbursement, ensuring you have the tools you need to excel in your role.
