We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our Finance team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to corporate accounting, financial reporting, and financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and committed to accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process accounts payable, employee expense reimbursements, and vendor payments.
  • Prepare customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
  • Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
  • Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting under company policies.
  • Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for financial reporting and external audits.
  • Maintain accounting records and ensure data accuracy in the ERP/accounting system.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and Operations to resolve accounting questions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Perform other accounting and finance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience (internships are welcome).
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.

Preferred

  • Internship or experience in a corporate accounting environment.
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models, subscription billing, or revenue recognition concepts.
  • Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
