The American Social Work Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage in a range of responsibilities designed to promote healing and resilience in your clients. Your key duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions grounded in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Implementing therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care to foster personal growth.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that include clear goals and therapeutic interventions to meet specific client needs.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participating in treatment team meetings to design and execute client-centered treatment strategies.
• Offering crisis intervention and safety planning to clients in urgent need.
• Maintaining thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, aligned with ethical guidelines and company policies.

In your role, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges. You will provide a safe space for clients to address their issues, helping them develop coping strategies and resilience to overcome obstacles in their lives.

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
• A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interactions and documentation.

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to families and couples.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment practices and a willingness to adapt new methodologies.
• Experience working in a community health clinic or a similar environment.

The American Social Work Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
