Job description

Evening Receptionist Position

Sheehy Ford of Springfield is seeking an energetic individual for the Evening Receptionist position. As the Evening Receptionist, you will have the opportunity to impact our overall customer experience each day as our dealership's first impressions representative. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and goal-oriented. If you are professional, have integrity, love people, and like to get things done, apply today!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and receive prospects and customers.
  • Answer the phone dealership and transfer customer to appropriate person.
  • Friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.
  • Refers customers who have additional questions to the service advisor or other appropriate staff member.
  • Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and refers the customer to the appropriate individual for further assistance.
  • Prepare any Fed Ex envelopes for shipments.
  • Maintain the front desk area; ensure it is cleaned in before your shift ends.
  • Work hours are 5-9pm during the week (done 2-3 days per week; alternating with another evening receptionist) and 9am-8pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. For Saturday and Sunday, this is worked every other weekend.
  • Visit the customer lounge area and customers at sales desks and offer them a snack.
  • Restock the snack tray when low and before your shift ends.
  • Maintains coffee supply area in customer lounge to ensure everything is stocked.
  • Other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or higher
  • Available to work hours 5-9pm during the week (done 2-3 days per week; alternating with another evening receptionist) and 9am-8pm on Saturday and 11am to 7pm on Sunday. For Saturday and Sunday, this is worked every other weekend.
  • A professional appearance
  • A clean driving record & valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks (MVR, drug test)
