Provide Army Continuing Education System - Education Support Services that supports Soldiers’ professional and personal growth through a continuum of education programs and services that range from academic and career guidance to enhancement of job performance and skill qualifications and includes assistance to ease the transition of Soldiers returning to civilian life. Services include counseling, credentialing/licensure, testing, instruction, technological and automation services and administration support services at Army Education Centers.

Job Description

  • Provide Reception and Administration Support Services.
  • Serve as first point of contact for ACES customers
  • Operate basic office equipment, e.g. photocopier, scanner, facsimile, multi-line phone/voicemail systems, and basic computer programs
  • Provide in and out-processing information to Soldiers
  • Have a thorough understanding of the education management system and provide general information and guidance to assist Soldiers in navigating the system (currently ArmyIgnitED).
  • Ensure client’s education record information is posted correctly
  • Open and sort mail; receive, date stamp, and distribute
  • Prepare materials for education informational briefings
  • Identify and recommend the ordering of education-related handouts and marketing items
  • Post schedules for courses, and track classroom and facility usage.
  • Catalog and assist in administration of equipment/supplies
  • Arrange materials, classroom equipment, and computers
  • Identify and assist in correcting safety issues
  • Other administrative duties

Qualifications

The minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform these services/tasks include:

  • Customer service skills;
  • Knowledge of U.S. post-secondary education programs;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the use of office equipment, Microsoft Office computer programs and web-based application
  • A minimum of one (1) year of reception and/or administrative experience;
  • A favorable NACI security investigation;
  • 30 semester hours of college from a nationally or regionally accredited college is required.

Salary: $20 - $30 per hour + Health and Welfare based on location
