Job description

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable, energetic Registered Behavior Technicians in Shawnee Kansas area to join our team! You will be responsible for implementation of direct one-on-one interventions to children with Autism, teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce problematic behaviors in the home, community, and school settings. RBT's will be supervised to implement programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of Direct 1:1 programming/interventions
  • Implementation of treatment plan goals developed by BCBA
  • Implementation of Behavior Intervention Plan developed by BCBA
  • Accurately collects behavior data
  • Follows the treatment plan goals and interventions developed by the BCBA
  • Collaborate with BCBA and works to provide treatment effectively and without disruption to the environment or other individuals in the environment
  • Functions within boundaries and guidelines of a RBT role in providing treatment

Qualifications:

  • Highschool diploma
  • Have valid driver’s license
  • Experience with children with autism or other disabilities.
  • Positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and accept feedback
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Good references
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain and maintain current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Physical Requirements: Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, turning, twisting, standing for extended periods, reaching, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
