Your Impact

As a Supplement Proofreader I, you will help ensure legislative and legal content is accurate, consistent, and ready for publication in both online and print formats. In this role, you will proofread editors’ work, support the accurate incorporation of legislative material into unified documents, and help maintain the quality and integrity of content relied on by municipal clients. You’ll play an important part in a collaborative, deadline-driven team that values precision, consistency, and accountability.

What you'll do

  • Organize, plan, and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proofread legislative material and legal documents for accuracy and style consistency.
  • Apply problem-solving and independent judgment when working with municipal law content.
  • Interpret legal subject matter and ensure it is placed appropriately within a unified document.
  • Work with legal information in an organized outline format.
  • Actively participate in departmental and team meetings.
  • Meet or exceed productivity metrics, quality standards, and team expectations.

Compensation and benefits

  • Estimated Salary Grade: $15.38 – $20.28
    • Anticipated Hiring Range: $16.50-$18.00
    • The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and is based on a 40-hour work week.
