Role Overview
The Project Manager will work closely with the customer delivery team, product managers, implementation leads and the other project managers in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones applying conventional project management methods to coordinate the delivery and implementation of Technosylva's subscription software products. Experience with managing milestones, deliverables, stakeholder communication is required.
Responsibilities
  • Be accountable for the full life cycle of successful customer projects (Sales to Customer Support/Customer Success) including new implementations, updates, Change Requests and other.
  • Work with and lead Technosylva team members to develop project plans and timelines, identify project tasks, and coordinate completion of project deliverables and outcomes.
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverable milestones with the Technosylva technical teams and customers.
  • Support Technosylva senior leadership and project leads with maintaining project schedules and communicating status of project milestones, upcoming deliverables, dependencies, and risks and issues with leadership, project leads and clients.
  • Coordinate and plan projects and tasks using company approved software, such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Notion and Jira.
  • Identify project, deliverable, and software release conflicts across projects and clients, supporting Technosylva senior leadership to revise project schedules and communicate with clients as needed.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to implement improvements in the project management process and deployment pipeline.
  • Measure project performance using project management best practices methodology and techniques.
  • Closely collaborate with clients, assuring project success and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership by motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones.
  • Work with Technosylva senior management and product leads to identify project opportunities and provide custom solutions to meet client needs.
  • Support Technosylva senior management with strategic planning.

Requirements
Required
  • Project management experience in a SaaS company, with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Experience working in wildland fire, forestry, electric utilities or related discipline.
  • Experience with project management software programs such as Smartsheets, Notion and Jira (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency utilizing the MS Office Suite and Google Apps.
  • Problem-solving ability with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in working remotely, successfully completing multiple complex projects simultaneously on time and within budget.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, upbeat, creative, resourceful and accountable.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, management, and collaboration qualities.

Preferred
  • Experience managing or utilizing the Agile development process.
  • Formal project management training.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering, computer science, and/or natural science.
  • Valid PMP designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
