Job Description
General Description:
The Information and Engineering Technologies (IET) project assistant manages and coordinates initiatives and activities, and special projects within the Information and Engineering Technologies (IET) division. This position will support the IET Dean in the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of ongoing programs, strategic initiatives, and new grant opportunities aligned with divisional and institutional goals.
Duties and Tasks:
  • Support the development and testing of IoT devices
  • Assist reviewing and testing the course
  • Knowledge and understanding IET materials
  • Hands-on exercises and the projects and laboratory.
  • Assist in the outreach plan
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, community partners, and funding agencies, to advance program objectives and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Assist with the management of activities such as project coordination, communication, documentation, reporting, tracking deliverables, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements and timelines.
  • Coordinating and assisting the grant investigators with project-related activities.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declared by the Governor.
