We are currently searching for a PRN ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our Mallard Creek Ambulatory Surgery Center location.
10 hours a week, normally within the hour structure 5:00am-7:30pm. Ambulatory experience is preferred. PACU experience is required.
The ASC Registered Nurse (RN) will exemplify our organization's values of Quality, Teamwork, Service and Community. Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. This individual will is also be responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.
Essential Functions:

  • The RN is able to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations.
  • Responsible for the coordination of the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience in delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams
  • The ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment through cross-training to other primary areas including but not limited to assisting with turnover, and all other aspects of day-to-day ASC operations

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College or University.
  • Current License/registration by NC as a registered Nurse.
  • At least two years' experience in either ambulatory experience required. OR Circulator experience required.
  • BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications.
