Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse

Per Diem (PRN) LTAC RN in Indianapolis

Are you an experienced RN with LTAC or STAC experience looking for a change? We currently have both day and night shift PRN shifts available at a local LTAC hospital. These flexible PRN shifts may be the perfect match for you.

As an RN, you will:

  • Manage and coordinate individualized care plans for LTAC patients.
  • Assess patient conditions and monitor treatment progress.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers.
  • Advocate for patients and facilitate communication among all parties.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with standards.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions.
  • Educate patients and families on care and health management.

A few must-haves for LTAC Nurses:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed within the state of Indiana
  • 2 years of recent and related Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) or related acute care experience, as required by the facility
  • Must be able to work independently, yet together as part of a team
  • Must be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Proficient at taking vital signs and administering medication accordingly
  • Active BLS, physical, TB test, and other medical compliance as required by facility
