Description

The Youth Recovery Center (YRC) is a unique, in-hospital residential treatment center, that helps adolescents ages 15-18, work through addiction recovery and address mental health needs. YRC is looking for Registered Nurses (RNs) with a special interest in the adolescent population to join our Youth Recovery team!

This is a PRN position!

Shifts are 12-hour shifts! PRN

  • $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
  • $4.00/hour night shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 11:00pm - 7:30am.
  • $4.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Monday.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain required
  • BSN preferred

Skills:

  • Assesses level of risk and makes appropriate clinical judgment for resolution of client emergencies resulting in a safe outcome.
  • Must be able and willing to participate in recreation activities with clients
  • Must be willing to gain skills in substance abuse, mental health, and adolescent health.

Experience:

  • 1 year experience working as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Minimum of 1 year RN work experience, preferable in the areas of Acute Care, Psychiatric, or Addiction preferred.

SALARY:

  • $36.76 - $54.06/hour (ADN) + 14% PRN Differential
  • $37.50 - $56.23/hour (BSN) + 14% PRN Differential
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
  • Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, RN-BSN, and RN-MSN
  • Evening, nights, and weekend differentials available.
