Weekend Overnight Caregiver – Female Client

Location: Desplaines /park ridge
Schedule: Every weekend saturdsy and Sunday
Hours: 8:00 p.m.–9:00 a.m.
Shift Length: 13 hours per overnight shift
Position Type: Part-time, permanent weekend position

GoldenCare at Home Inc. is seeking a dependable, friendly, and compassionate caregiver for a consistent overnight weekend assignment with one female client.

The client is pleasant, enjoys conversation, and is looking for companionship and supervision throughout the night. This is a non-lifting assignment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing companionship and engaging conversation
  • Offering overnight supervision and reassurance
  • Assisting with simple evening and morning routines, as needed
  • Preparing a light snack or breakfast
  • Providing medication reminders according to the care plan
  • Performing routine safety and wellness checks
  • Keeping the client’s immediate area clean and organized
  • Documenting completed tasks and reporting any concerns
  • Remaining awake, attentive, and available throughout the overnight shift

No lifting, transferring, or heavy physical assistance is required.

Requirements:

  • Previous caregiving or companionship experience preferred
  • Warm, patient, and conversational personality
  • Reliable transportation for yourself to get to the jon
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to work every weekend from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
