Interventional Cardiologist Opening Äì Farmington, MOLocated 90 miles from St. Louis, MOH1B and J1 sponsorshipBase Salary: $650,000 (2-year guarantee)Position Details: FT, permanent position Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join an expanding cardiology team. This full-time, hospital-employed opportunity offers a balanced schedule, excellent mentorship, and a supportive, physician-led environment.Position Highlights: Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures Newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time 1:4 call schedule (one night per week and one weekend per month; minimal call-backs) Option to perform device/pacemaker implantations (preferred but not required) Work with a collaborative team: 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 APPs Utilize EPIC EMR Participate in program development and community outreach Excellent mentorship available for recent fellowship graduates No after-hours STEMI callCandidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Completion of an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain) DEA certification and CSR/CDS (prior to start) Clean malpractice and license history (highly preferred) Open to J1 and H1B visa candidates BE in 2026 and 2027 Interventional Cardiology Fellows welcome Not accepting Locums or 1099 candidatesCompensation and Benefits: Base Salary: $650,000 (2-year guarantee), then transitions to wRVU-based model Sign-on Bonus: $50,000 Fellowship Stipend: $2,000 monthly (for candidates still in training) Relocation Assistance: Generous package provided Paid Time Off: 4 weeks + 5 CME days CME Allowance: Annual stipend Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance 401(k) with employer match and 457(b) plan FSA and HSA options Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Tuition reimbursement and PSLF eligibility Employee Assistance Program and system-wide discounts Career advancement and leadership development opportunities High earning potential Äì current cardiologists earn above the 80th percentile nationallyOn-Call Details: 1:4 call rotation (one night per week and one weekend per month) Inpatient rounding on 8 Äì10 patients per day during weekend call No after-hours STEMI callCommunity Details:Farmington, Missouri, offers a vibrant, family-friendly community surrounded by beautiful parks, lakes, and wineries.
