Interventional Cardiologist – Farmington, MO | $650K Base + $50K Sign-On + Full Benefits

Location: Farmington, Missouri
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Start Date: Flexible


Position Overview

An established Midwest healthcare organization is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-performing cardiology team in Farmington, MO, just 90 minutes from St. Louis.

This full-time, hospital-employed position offers an exceptional work-life balance, no after-hours STEMI call, J1/H1B visa sponsorship, and the opportunity to work in a mentorship-driven, physician-led environment equipped with advanced cardiac facilities.


Assignment Details
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 patient contact hours per week

  • Weekend Call: 1:4 rotation; inpatient rounding on 8–10 patients/day

  • Weeknight Call: 1 per week (rarely called in)

  • STEMI Call: None after hours

  • Procedures: Cardiac caths, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures

  • Optional: Pacemaker/device implantation (preferred but not required)

  • Team Environment: Experienced cardiologists and APP support

  • EMR: EPIC


Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $650,000 (2-year guarantee) → transition to wRVU model
Sign-On Bonus: $50,000
Training Stipend: $2,000/month for fellows still in training
Relocation Assistance: Provided
Time Off: 4 weeks PTO + 5 CME days
CME Allowance: Annual stipend provided

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology & Interventional Cardiology
Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship
Missouri medical license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA & CSR/CDS certifications (required prior to start)
Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred)
Visa status (J1/H1B)
