Interventional Cardiologist opening in Farmington, MO - Visa EligibleLocation: Farmington, MO - Approximately 75 minutes south of St. LouisPosition Type: Full-Time, PermanentJ1 and H1B visa sponsorship available Overview:A respected, physician-led health system in southeastern Missouri is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing cardiology team. This position offers mentorship from experienced physicians, a modern cath lab, and a strong work-life balance with no after-hours STEMI call. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates. Full-time, hospital-employed position Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard daytime hours Call: 1:4 rotation (one night per week and one weekend per month) No after-hours STEMI call Weekend rounding: 8-10 inpatients per day EMR: Epic Responsibilities: Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures Participate in procedural time within a renovated cath lab Collaborate with cardiology colleagues and advanced practice providers for coordinated cardiac care Option to perform device and pacemaker implantations (preferred but not required) Engage in program development and community outreach Participate in mentorship and quality improvement initiatives Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Completion of an Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Active Missouri medical license or willingness to obtain DEA certification (CSR/CDS to be obtained prior to start) Open to Fellows completing training Clean malpractice and licensure history preferred Not accepting locums or 1099 candidates Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary: $650,000 (2-year guarantee), transitioning to wRVU productivity model Sign-On Bonus: $50,000 Fellowship Stipend: $2,000/month for candidates still in training Relocation Assistance: Provided Paid Time Off: 4 weeks PTO + 5 CME days annually CME Allowance: Provided annually Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance 401(k) with employer match and 457(b) plan FSA and HSA options Malpractice coverage with tail Tuition reimbursement and PSLF eligibility Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and system-wide discounts Career development and leadership opportunities Work-life balance emphasized with no after-hours STEMI call Current cardiologists earn above the 80th percentile nationally About the Area:Farmington, MO, with a population of around 19,000 residents, is a welcoming community located in the heart of St. Francois County in southeastern Missouri.
