Murray Company is looking for a commercial construction Superintendent to operate across the Midwest and lead the development of rural hospitals and healthcare centers built for the future. Specializing in the healthcare industry, we manage new constructions, additions, and renovations from concept to completion and ready to meet everyones needs. Our construction superintendents are responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. They provide overall technical and administrative directions on projects and uphold company and project policies, ensure jobsite safety, maintain customer interface and ensure our projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. On average, they manage two to five multi-million-dollar construction projects per year.


The Superintendent may have supervisory responsibility for trades personnel working directly for Murray Co. if assigned to their project.

Skills & Qualifications include:

  • Six to eight years minimum industry experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Procore
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional client interaction skills and developing trade partner relationships
  • The ability to travel to project locations primarily located in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri; must be able to travel up to 6-8 hours from home; overnight and weekends
  • OSHA 10 hour, preferred
  • Valid drivers license
