Job description

Job Summary:
ClifyX is a company seeking an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and optimize Oracle databases. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems while ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance across various environments.
Responsibilities:
• Install configure and upgrade Oracle databases 11g12c19c on LinuxUnixWindows platforms
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN
• Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries indexes and storage
• Apply patches and security updates to maintain compliance
• Manage user access roles and privileges
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide root cause analysis
• Support migration and upgrade projects onprem to cloud or version upgrades
• Work closely with application teams for schema design and performance tuning
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong experience with Oracle 11g12c19c
• Expertise in RMAN and Oracle Data Pump
• SQL tuning AWR reports and optimizer strategies
• Oracle RAC and Data Guard configuration and management
• User management roles privileges and encryption
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation
• LinuxUnix administration basics
• Applying PSUCPU patches and version upgrades
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• 7 years of Oracle DBA experience
Preferred:
• Oracle Certified Professional OCP
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure OCI or AWS RDS for Oracle
