Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, operations and maintenance of the Oracle databases in a Microsoft Windows cluster environment

- Responsible for troubleshooting database issues

- Responsible for database performance tuning

- Responsible for database backup and recovery

- Responsible for applying regular database patch and database upgrade

Qualifications

Minimum skills and qualifications:

- US Citizenship required. No Dual Citizens

- 4 years or more of managing Oracle databases in a Microsoft Windows cluster environment

- 4 years or more of writing Oracle queries

- 4 years or more of IT Delivery and/or Operations experience

- Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Excellent organizational and time-management skills

- Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years experience in lieu of degree

- Able to work flexible schedule/weekends if needed

Preferred skills and qualifications:

- Certified Oracle DBA

- Certified SQLServer DBA

- Knowledgeable with Oracle database as well as SQLServer

- Knowledgeable in networking

- Basic understanding of Windows Active Directory
