The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by monitoring premises and performing search procedures. Responsibilities:
  • Monitor a variety of technologies including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to provide security service and threat elimination.
  • Respond to all emergencies, and dispatch security officers, police, fire, EMS personnel, and other services as required for incidents such as B&E, power disruption, medical, etc.
  • Investigating incidents and alarms, escalating situations to appropriate parties and assembling incident reports.
  • Monitor security alerts and events generated by various security and access control software
  • Analyze and triage security alerts to identify potential security incidents, prioritizing them based on severity, relevance, and potential impact.
  • Take immediate action to mitigate security incidents through remote monitoring efforts and constant surveillance.
  • Document incident response activities, including timelines, actions taken, and lessons learned, to support post-incident analysis and reporting.
  • Operate the access control system through CCTV, and Badging.
  • Monitor site activities via CCTV or other surveillance systems.
  • Be vigilant for safety and security threats.
  • Implement established emergency or security action plans, as required
  • Deter criminal activity, misconduct, and safety violations.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have 2 years of experience in the security industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a call center or similar
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Experience in a security operations center, dispatch, or similar security-related role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn software such as Genetec/Lenel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a 24/7 operational setting
  • Ability to think clearly during crisis or high stress periods
  • Flexibility for potential schedule adjustments

Physical Requirements: This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:
  • Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1-2 miles per shift)
  • Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
