Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team for the first and second shift. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in bending sheet metal and will be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings to process materials through the press brake.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Program press brake and enter dimensional information into the software.
  • Make necessary adjustments to angles and flange length corrections.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine settings and material requirements.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when needed.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules.
  • Document production activities and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced.

Essential Skills

  • 1-3 years of experience operating a press brake machine, specifically in bending sheet metal.
