Operations Manager
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our New Brighton, MN team!
As our operations Manager, you will manage the operational aspects of our facility. This will entail P&L responsibilities, EHS responsibilities and Operations reporting responsibilities for both our Liquid Coatings and Shot Peening operations.
You will support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, capital investment strategies and profitable growth while maintaining flawless safety, environmental, and quality performance.
Location: New Brighton, MN
Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

Your Challenge
  • Profit and loss responsibilities.
  • Assist with the development of budgeting, forecasts, monthly financials, cost enhancement, pricing strategy and capital investment justification.
  • Facilitate sales growth through work with facility Sales Manager AND Quality Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining all 3rd party certifications (NADCAP, AS9100, ISO9001, customer specific).
  • Drive all continuous improvements within the New Brighton facility.
  • Fully responsible for all Environmental, Health & Safety programs, tasks and reporting.
  • Fully responsible for all corporate reporting needs.

What You Bring
  • Four-year degree in Management, Manufacturing, Accounting or Quality.
  • Management experience in Metal Finishing
  • ISO and Nadcap experience.
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in chemical processing (phosphating, electroless plating and/or microseal) or liquid coatings (painting and/or powder coating).
  • 3+ years of P&L management experience for a multi-million-dollar manufacturing operation.
  • 3+ years' experience with employee health and safety initiatives, with experience in working with outside regulatory and certification organizations (ISO, NADCAP, OSHA, ATF, State/County regulators)
  • Strong financial acumen in all aspects of a manufacturing facility.
  • A "can do" attitude focusing on problem solving.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
