Overview of the position:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated RN Supervisor to join our skilled nursing facility team. The main responsibility is overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care, ensuring compliance with all regulations, and providing leadership to nursing staff. Also should be responsible in creating a positive work culture that promotes mutual respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Monitor patient health status and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff as needed.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and facilitate effective communication among team members.
  • Ensure the facility maintains high standards of patient safety and quality of care.
  • Participate in staff training and development, providing mentorship and guidance to junior nurses.
  • Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transitions of care to ensure seamless services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice (California) is a must
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing or similar facility is preferred
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to work on Weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
