  • Weekend all shifts open - $50/hour for this shift ONLY

As a Registered Nurse (RN), the expectations would be:

  • Monitor and provide daily oversight of resident care in accordance with facility and state standards.

  • Administers medication and/or treatment to residents

  • Communicates resident pertinent data to the appropriate responsible party.

  • Supervises and coordinates CNAs and LPNs in providing direct resident care in adherence to State and Federal guidelines.

  • Receive telephone orders from physicians, transcribe orders and record in the electronic health record, and prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.

  • Educate residents and their loved ones to understand the condition, medications, and self-care skills.

  • Promote continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

  • Ensure nursing supply and equipment maintenance needs are met.

  • The ability to be a flexible, caring, supportive team member

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:

  • Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Delaware or have a COMPACT LICENSE

  • CPR Certification preferred

  • Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.

  • Ability to build rapport with residents

  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
