Needs to work 8a - 5pm AZ Time
Travel: Up to 30% per month. Most likely a month after starting, primarily in NE and AR. Generally, no weekend stays.
Description: Network Engineers will be doing design and implementation work at various sites. Network Modernization Projects. The main goal of these projects is to bring the networks at our facilities up to our current standard. This will require us to replace the existing equipment with our current standard gear. This will also require a full redesign of those networks. The team will be working on routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers. Also part of the scope of these projects is to work with our construction teams to bring our IDFs and MDFs up to standard.
Ideal Candidate has about 5 years of Cisco network experience.
Must have healthcare experience. Also should have experience doing network refresh projects.
Non-Negotiable skills would be having roughly 5 years of Cisco router and switch experience.
Need candidates who are assertive and outgoing. Candidates need to be able to work independently, or with little oversight. Ideal candidates will be assertive, outgoing and an independent worker. Leadership is very accommodating towards family time, along with keeping us informed and involved. Remote work is pretty much the norm here, the team spans across the US. This is a fast paced work environment, so skills development will be available. For example, we work hand in hand with Cisco Systems pretty much on a daily basis. So there is a lot of access to Cisco resources.
