Job description


Our client, Japanese school in Westchester, isa leading educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education to students from Grades 9 to 12. With a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, they are seeking a passionate and experienced Japanese/Kokugo teacher to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Japanese/Kokugo Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching 4-9 regular classes per week for students in Grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will be a native Japanese speaker with several years of experience in teaching Japanese/Kokugo. You will collaborate with other teachers in the department to achieve the department's goals and improve students' skills. Additionally, you will have a passion for teaching students and making continuous improvements to the curriculum.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in teaching subject; Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Native Japanese speaker with several years of experience in teaching Japanese/Kokugo.
  • Teaching experience for Grades 9-12 students is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and contribute to the department's goals and curriculum development.
  • Passion for teaching and making improvements to enhance student learning.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.

Benefits
Compensation:
Part-time teachers will be compensated based on the number of classes taught.
