Schedule, Quality & Compliance
  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and shop drawings to ensure full compliance with project and code requirements
  • Develop and manage site schedules; proactively address issues to ensure timely project completion
  • Establish and enforce quality standards and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field

Safety & Site Management
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean job site at all times
  • Conduct routine safety audits and enforce company, federal, state, and local safety regulations

  • Attend preconstruction meetings, customer meetings, and internal training sessions as required
  • Keep management informed of progress, risks, and resolution plans

Reporting & Documentation
  • Complete required daily field documentation accurately and on time using company systems (Procore, ACC, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Track materials on-site and forecast future material needs
  • Prepare project reports and required documentation as needed

Professional Representation
  • Represent idX professionally with customers, partners, and subcontractors at all times
  • Uphold company values, policies, and customer service standards while traveling and on-site
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
  • 2+ years of experience in construction field operations, installation, or site supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of new construction methods, including the use and installation of lumber and engineered wood products
  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple activities simultaneously
  • Proficient with construction and business software, including Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Licensing, Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel nationwide 100% of the time and stay out of town for extended periods (Monday-Friday, some weekends as needed)
  • Valid driver's license (forklift, First-Aid, and CPR certifications required or obtainable within 60 days of hire)
  • Ability to safely work on active job sites, including standing/walking for extended periods, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in varying weather conditions
  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices and complying with all company, federal, state, and local safety regulations

Professional Traits
  • High level of personal accountability and professionalism
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to represent idX positively with customers and subcontractors
  • Willingness to comply with company policies, work schedules, and pre-employment requirements including drug testing

Preferred but not required experience will be considered. We encourage candidates with strong field leadership experience and a willingness to travel to apply-even if they do not meet every qualification listed.

  • Base salary starting at $85,000+, dependent on experience
  • Annual performance bonus tied to company and individual performance
  • Company-paid travel expenses and per diem
  • Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, holidays, stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement
