Support Modern Technology in One of NYC's Most Dynamic Client Environments

Acture Solutions is seeking an experienced MSP Systems Engineer to join our New York City Managed Services team. This hybrid role supports a portfolio of financial services and professional services clients, including executive leadership teams and highly technical AI professionals. This is not a traditional Systems Engineer position. You'll combine white-glove executive support, Microsoft cloud administration, systems engineering, SaaS administration, automation, cybersecurity, and infrastructure projects while working in a fast-paced MSP environment where no two days are the same.

If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working directly with clients, and continuously improving technology through automation and innovation, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Deliver white-glove technical support to executives and end users across multiple client environments.

• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Windows Autopilot.

• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure.

• Manage endpoint deployment, imaging, software deployment, patch management, and device lifecycle management.

• Administer SaaS platforms including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Box, and other modern workplace technologies.

• Support conference room technologies including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Poly collaboration systems.

• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives including Conditional Access, endpoint security, identity management, and security best practices.

• Design, implement, and support infrastructure upgrades, office buildouts, client onboarding, technology refreshes, and cloud migrations.

• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes using PowerShell, AI tools, and workflow improvements.

• Create and maintain clear technical documentation while collaborating with clients and internal engineering teams.

• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation approximately every three weeks.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• 4–7 years of Systems Engineering experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

• Strong experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune.

• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V), DNS, and DHCP.

• Experience supporting both Windows and macOS endpoints.

• Experience with endpoint deployment, Microsoft Autopilot, device management, and modern endpoint administration.

• Experience supporting executive-level users with exceptional professionalism and customer service.

• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

• Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, or process improvement preferred.

• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Glean, or similar platforms is highly desirable.

• Microsoft, Azure, or related certifications are a plus.

Skills for Success

• Executive presence with exceptional customer service skills.

• Strong technical judgment and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple client priorities in a fast-paced MSP environment.

• Passion for automation and improving operational efficiency.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

• Collaborative team player who enjoys learning new technologies.
