Job Summary and Qualifications

  The Medical Transport System (MTS) Assistant Business Manager serves as a strategic and operational partner to the Director, CCT Manager, MTS Manager, and MedCom Manager. This position plays a critical role in ensuring administrative excellence, data integrity, and business continuity across the Medical Transport System. The Assistant Business Manager is responsible for supporting financial, regulatory, and operational processes—helping to drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the program.  

Schedule:  Weekdays; Flexible working hours in evenings or weekends may be required for planned and unplanned activities such as staff meetings, recurrent training, and other educational offerings. 


What qualifications you will need:

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Required Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, emergency medical services, or related operational leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed: 

  •   Demonstrated understanding of EMS systems, clinical operations, and healthcare regulatory requirements.
  •    Strong business and financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analytics.
  •   Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.  
  •   Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI (or equivalent analytics tools), and project management software.  
  •   Self-starter with strong initiative, sound judgment, and a collaborative spirit.
