Job description

Immediate positions are available for full or part-time drivers.

Rate:
Hourly pay with potential weekly earnings of $560 to $1,000+ for full-time employees.
Overview:

Other Requirements and Certifications:
  • Weekend hours to include Saturdays as early as 4AM and as late as 7pm, and Sunday 8am-5pm.
  • Patient care experience is a plus but not required (we will train you).
  • Current valid Florida driver’s license.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record for 3 years.
  • CPR/First Aid, PASS, Defensive Driving, FWA, HIPAA, and DOT Physical (can be obtained prior to start date if you don’t already have it).

Job Description:
  • Responsible for driving riders in wheelchairs and stretcher-capable vehicles to their destination in a safe, timely, and friendly manner.
  • May require going inside rehabilitation facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, hospice centers, and home residences to load or unload rider into wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Required to load, unload, slide and assist rider 200lbs or more, on or off wheelchair or stretcher.
  • Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to, bending, pushing, pulling, kneeling, twisting, squatting, and lifting.
  • Able to work with riders with service animals (i.e. dogs)
  • Responsible for keeping vehicle and equipment clean and sanitized, reporting any maintenance issues, gassing up the vehicle, and checking fluid levels.
  • Must be able to work 8 to 12-hour shifts depending on trip demand for the day.
  • Start and end times for daily shifts are not set in stone and fluctuate depending on trip demand for the day, but can be anywhere from 4:30 am - 1 pm start.
