Position: Paramedic (EMT-P) – Knoxville, TNWhat You’ll Do

As a Vital Paramedic, you will provide advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care, including:

  • Responding to 911 and interfacility calls
  • Performing ALS assessments and interventions
  • Administering medications per Standing Orders
  • Interpreting EKGs and operating advanced medical equipment
  • Delivering high-quality care throughout transport
  • Lifting, transferring, and moving patients safely
  • Maintaining accurate Patient Care Reports (PCRs)
  • Cleaning, restocking, and maintaining equipment
  • Driving an ambulance safely and professionally

Requirements:

Skills, Education & Required Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Tennessee Paramedic License
  • Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
  • Strong BLS-level proficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Current CPR Certification

Preferred Credentials (Highly Valued)

  • ACLS
  • PHTLS
  • ITLS
  • National Registry Paramedic (NREMT-P)
